Replacement Latch Spring

This is a Union Replacement Latch Spring and can be used to repair broken Union lock cases, specifically the L22224S and L22214S cylinder lock cases. The latch spring is a part of the lock that frequently fails and can be replaced relatively cheaply and easily to avoid the need to replace the whole lock. The latch spring itself is a steel torsion spring, with legs that sit behind a peg and the rear of the latch bolt. The common reason for failure is the legs fracture after repeated use and the latch bolt no longer returns to the thrown position
