The Nico Night Vent Security Window Espagnolette is a window locking mechanism designed for enhanced security and night vent functionality. It features a backset measurement of 22mm and a faceplate width of 16mm. This espagnolette incorporates a double cam design that engages with a steel striker to provide locking and night vent positions.

This Nico espagnolette meets the performance requirements of PAS 24 : 2016 as a critical component and is Secured By Design approved. The mechanism is constructed with corrosion-resistant materials, including a Supercoat finish, and has been tested to BS EN 1670 Grade 5 (480 hours neutral salt spray), confirming its resistance to corrosion. It has undergone durability and functional testing to BS EN 13126-4 and cycle testing to BS EN 6375 Part 2, assessing resistance to repeated operation. Weather performance testing in accordance with BS EN 6375 Part 1 covers air, wind, and water tightness.
